Sales Lead/Founding Account Executive (m/f/d)
In Short: We have scaled Klar the leading reporting and attribution software for eCommerce brands in DACH with over 1.000 customers - completely through inbound with a strong product and great service.
We have strong product market fit, with a demo to closed won of over 50% and trial to closed won of over 75% and an NRR of 122%.
We are now looking a for a Sales Lead who will built out our sales function together with our CEO and around whom our sales department will be built and who will accelerate the growth of Klar even further.
This is the perfect role, for a hungry, proven software sales expert with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Your responsibilities
Over the last 3 years, we have closed over 1.000 eCommerce brands, completely inbound driven by a great product and great service.
Your responsibility, will not only be to take some of the closing responsibility of our founders, but also validate and build a high performing sales department within Klar.
This means you will take ownership of the following topics:
Take over closing of larger inbound deals - currently larger deals are still being closed by our success team and founder. After onboarding, this will be your responsibility.
Hire the initial sales team - next to this role, we are looking to hire at least one more team member for the sales team who’s hiring you will be responsible as well as future team members post GTM validation.
Build and validate an outbound sales motion - our growth has been purely inbound but to accelerate growth even further, you will (together with the other hires) will be responsible for building and validating an outbound sales motion for the mid-market segment (50-250m in revenue) and scaling that across Europe.
Reactivate cold leads and closed lost deals - at 50%, we have a great demo to closed won conversion. At the same time, this also means that there is still plenty of potential leads already in our CRM that can be reactivated and closed.
Join our community events - next to Klar, we run the eCom Unity - Europe’s largest German eCommerce community where we host 15+ events each year. Plus, we also exhibit at large trade fairs like OMR, K5 & DMEXCO. A great opportunity to connect with potential new customers and close existing leads.
Level-up our Success team sales skills - to keep things lean, smaller deals will likely in the future still be closed directly from our onboarding and success team. These are all eCom people by background and are looking forward to learning from you.

Work from anywhere* - we are based in Munich but are building Klar as a distributed-first company. As we are just getting started building the sales team, we would like you to also work from our office for this role , but for the right person and reason, we are flexible.
About You
Proven track record in Sales & Business Developemet, particularly in acquiring mid-maret customers for SaaS products, preferably within the Business Intelligence (BI) and/or eCommerce industry.
Entrepreneurial mindset, meaning that you thrive and enjoy it most, when you get to build something from scratch, make mistakes, learn and improve.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with enterprise-level decision-makers, both German and English.
Ability to adapt and tailor communication approaches based on individual customer personas and enterprise requirements.
Exceptional research and analytical skills to identify potential customers and their pain points, positioning Klar as the ideal solution.
Demonstrated ability to strategize, execute, analyze results, and iterate for continuous improvement in the context of SaaS business development.

Since we are growing like crazy and have big plans, the starting date is ideally tomorrow. But for the right candidate, we are willing to wait. Quality always pays off.
Most of the process for this position will be handled by our CEO Max.
